1. About Meet Kaz

Meet Kaz is a public benefit corporation (PBC) providing parents and caregivers with plain-language guidance and resources to help navigate special education and related public services. Our goal is to make complex processes simpler—not to provide legal advice.

2. Who Can Use This Site

• You must be 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your location).
• You agree to provide only accurate information if submitting forms or signing up.
• You are responsible for your actions based on information found here.

3. What Kaz Offers (and What We Don’t)

Your privacy is important to us. Here’s how we handle your information:

  • If you browse as a guest, we collect minimal data (such as anonymous usage data).
  • If you create an account or submit forms, we may collect your name, email, and other information you provide.
  • We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13.

• Third-Party Providers:
  • We use third-party services (such as Supabase and OpenAI) to run parts of Kaz. These providers may process your data only as needed to operate the app.

  • Guest usage is not tied to a personal account and is generally not retained.

• Kaz does not store or process student records on behalf of schools.
